Prolong

SCENE 1

In the dimly lit living room, Anita paced nervously, her fingers fidgeting with the edge of her saree. "I think you should ask her before this," she voiced her concern to her husband, her eyes reflecting the tension about how Kanisha would react to the news.

Rajesh, sitting on the plush sofa, looked up from the newspaper he was reading. His eyes, steady and calm, met Anita's worried gaze. "She is my daughter and I know her, she will definitely accept this," he reassured, his voice steady, trying to instill confidence in his wife.

Anita paused, biting her lower lip, a habit she had when she was not entirely convinced. "Still," she murmured, her gaze dropping to the floor, still not finding solace in Rajesh's decision.

Rajesh set aside his newspaper, stood up, and walked over to Anita. He gently placed his hands on her shoulders, giving them a reassuring squeeze. "Don't worry, I know them well and you also know them right?" he asked, his voice soft yet firm.

Anita looked up at him, her eyes searching his for assurance. After a moment, she let out a sigh, her shoulders relaxing under his touch. "Yeah, you're right," she finally conceded, her voice barely above a whisper, as she found comfort in her husband's confidence.

SCENE 2

In the quaint ambiance of a cozy café, Reyansh and Kanisha sat across from each other, the air between them thick with tension. "Kanisha, what are you doing? You know whatever happened in the past, that-" Reyansh began, his voice filled with concern, but he was abruptly cut off by Kanisha's stern voice.

"Past? Yes, whatever happened, ha na," she scoffed, her voice laced with bitterness. "That thing doesn't matter to you, right?" She stood up abruptly, the chair scraping against the floor, her eyes flashing with anger.

As she turned to leave, Reyansh reached out, his hand gently grasping her arm. "It matters to me," he said, his voice firm yet filled with emotion.

"Oh really, I don't think so, and I don't want to marry you," she retorted, pulling her arm away from his grasp. With those final words, she walked away, leaving Reyansh alone in the café, the echo of her words hanging in the air.

"But I want to marry you, and I will not change my decision," he murmured to himself, his voice filled with determination. As he watched her retreating figure, he made a silent vow to himself - he would mend her heart again, no matter what it took.

SCENE 3

Reyansh trailed behind Kanisha, his voice laced with regret. "Please Kanisha, suno na mujhe maff kar do, aage se kabhi essa nhi karunga, sorry," he pleaded, his eyes reflecting his sincerity. Kanisha, her face set in a stern expression, continued to walk ahead, her anger palpable. "Go from here Reyansh, mujhe tumse koi baat nhi karna ha," she retorted, her voice echoing in the empty corridor.

Suddenly, a shower of rose petals descended upon her from above. Her anger momentarily forgotten, she twirled around in delight, her face lighting up at the unexpected surprise. As she stopped, she saw Reyansh kneeling on the ground, his hands cupping his ears in a traditional gesture of apology.

Kanisha's anger softened, but she maintained her stern facade. "What are you doing?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady. "Saying sorry to my wife, that's what I'm doing," Reyansh replied, his voice sincere.

As Kanisha turned to leave, Reyansh reached out and gently held her hand, stopping her in her tracks. With a gentle pull, he brought her closer, her back resting against his chest. He leaned in, his breath warm against her ear as he whispered, "I'm sorry na, please maff kar do, aage se kabhi nhi hoga." The intimacy of the moment sent a shiver down her spine, goosebumps dotting her skin.

"Leave me Reyansh," she managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper.

"No, not in this life, and they say that we have seven lives, and you are stuck with me for those seven lives Dove," he replied, his voice firm yet gentle, he had already lost her once, but this time, he would not let her go.
